1. Submissions should be typed in a 10 or 12 point standard font.

2. All paragraphs should be separated by a single space.

4. All fics must carry a rating (PG, PG-13, R, NC-17). NC-17 fics that contain graphic sex or violence must also be tagged. Example: Julie's Story, NC-17 for highly explicit sex.

5. Any characters involved in sexual contact MUST be 18 years of age or older.

6. Hailie Mathers is not to be involved in any sexual content regardless of her age in the fic. She is not to be subjected to consensual or non-consensual sex, extreme violence, or any other situation that could be interpreted as inappropriate.

General Information

1. You may submit your chapters for the web site in multiples (more than one chapter) if you need to in order to meet the 5 page minimum. However, please combine the chapters into one submission.

2. Any fan fiction or original writing that needs editing will not be posted until its been approved or corrected by a shadyfiction editor. The editors are volunteers and will get your story/ chapter done when they have time.

3. All first time submitters and new writers are encouraged to join the forum and have their story read and approved by a beta reader or editor before submitting to the web site.

4. If you are a first timer and feel confident in your writing ability, you are welcome to go ahead and submit. However, if there are multiple errors in your grammar, spelling, or formatting - your submission will be automatically turned over for editing.

Notes on Formatting

When you type your story, use the enter key on your keyboard to separate paragraphs and/ or sections. Allow whatever program you are using to wrap your text to the next line until you're ready to begin a new paragraph. One of the most common problems I have with submissions are the paragraph/ line breaks and indents. Please do not indent your text, or use the space bar to separate paragraphs or center your text. This creates total havoc when I paste it into my html editor (MS Frontpage 2003).

If possible, use a single space to separate paragraphs and a divider to separate sections. For an example of the format I use, please click HERE. This page can also be saved and used as a template.

Rules/ Guideline Changes, April 2004

The rules and guidelines aren't meant to be an insult or inconvenience to any shadyfiction writer or potential writer. The simple truth is that the site keeps me extremely busy; every fan fiction update I do means modifying and reloading six pages. I'm currently receiving thirty submissions per week, and the majority of them are less than two pages in length. I need to cut back on the workload, and this was the simplest solution I could come up with...

If you have any questions or concerns etc.., please feel free to email me. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. ~ Jenn

The stories hosted on this site are for entertainment purposes only.  They are completely fictitious, and the authors mean no harm to EMINEM, his family, friends, or anyone else that may have been depicted as a 'real life' character.  No money was made on the fiction here, either directly or indirectly, i.e. paid advertising. In other words - it's just a bunch of shit we wrote for fun. Please don't take it seriously.
