Chapter 5
- It was a month later...Nate was going to escort Nicole to the Miss Universe competition. She was so beautiful...she let her hair down tonight..and she was wearing the most lovely white dress...and this beautiful diamond necklace. She was perfect. She was like an angel.
- Nate was backstage in a tux......whoever thought......Nate in a tux.....I'll let y'all have a minute to laugh at that image in your heads.
- Ok..back to seriousness...the competition that evening was tense....so many beautiful ladies.....but 92 ladies became 15......then 10........then 5.......and Nicole was one of the final 5. Then one by one the ladies were eliminated. 4....3....2....It was Nicole and some other girl.
- "And the winner of Miss Universe 2004 is....Miss Czech Republic!!!"
- Nicole held herself incredibly well on TV...but the once the cameras were off....different story.
- "I thought you were beautiful." Nate said while getting into the limo.
- "Thank you." Nicole said in between sobs.
- They went to Nicole hotel room.
- Nicole started washing off her make-up. Nate followed her into the bathroom.
- "You know...those judges must be blind....because you looked like a fuckin angel up on that stage."
- "Leave."
- "Huh?"
- "No..don't leave..just get out of the bathroom...I need to change."
- "Oh, sorry." Nate left the bathroom.
- 15 minutes later...
- Nate was knocking on the door.
- "Nicole? You still in there? Are you ok?"
- No answer.
- Nate knocked a little louder.
- "You ok Nicole?" He raised his voice a bit louder.
- Nate tried knocking for a 3rd time and asking if she was ok.
- After the 3rd try he opened the door....he found Nicole sprawled out on the floor.....the was a bottle of painkillers lying next to her. There were no painkillers left in the bottle. Just a few on the floor.
- ~*~*~*meanwhile....~*~*~*~
- Athena sat on the couch with a big bowl of popcorn....sure she'd throw up later....but she really didn't care. She was hungry.
- She watched the competition...really boring....she could care less......she just wanted to see Nathan. Athena almost nearly died of laughter when she saw him in a tux...she NEVER saw Nate in a tux...he was always wearing gangsta clothes...clothes from Shady Ltd. and places like that.
- That Nicole girl...whoever Nate was with...lost...and then after the competition there was some post-red carpet stuff...since Athena had nothing better to do, she decided to watch it.
- Some guy was interviewing some girl...and in the background.....Nate.....and..
- "Oh my god!!!! He *sooooooo* did not kiss that whore!!!!!!" Athena screamed out yelling to the TV.

- Nate's cell phone rang.
- "H'lo?" Nate answered.
- "What the fuck do you think your doing? I saw you kissing her on tv!!!" Athena yelled into the phone.
- "Huh? What'cha talkin about?"
- "Don't act all innocent with me!! I was watching the Miss Universe competition and I saw you kiss that girl...the girl you escorted..whatever her name was...umm..Natalie."
- "You mean Nicole?"
- "Yeah, thats it! I knew it began with an N."
- "I swear...Athena..it's not what you think."
- "It's not what I think? It's not what I think? It's EXACTLY what I think!! I think you've been cheating on me!! You're dating her!"
- "Athena...we're just good friends. Besides..you know you're my girl...heck, you having my kid.....I love you."
- "Prove it."
- "Look...I can't quite prove it right now...but I promise...I *will* make it up to you. Now listen...I got to go...but when I get back home...I *promise* you'll see how much I love you. Bye."
- "Bye."
- 'Shit...what am I gunna do now? I hate Athena...I mean...at first when we met...she was all nice...but I *cant* *stand* another minute with her!! She only wants me for my money. If she weren't pregnant...she wouldn't want to be with me. And if I leave her, she'll just make me pay child support. She just wants my money. She doesn't love me at all. She hates me, I hate her. I love Nicole...but...shit...I wish Nicole left some of those painkillers for me...' Nate wondered to himself.

- Is Nicole ok? Heck, is Nate even ok? Or is he going to do something stupid and crazy? And what about Athena...how will Nate impress her.....or....will he even impress her at all? Or will the girls both catch Nate playing both of them?

- Oh, and I *promise* I'll have a sex scene *soon*. I dont know when....I wanted one in this chapter somewhere..Nate and Nicole get back to the hotel and fuck...but its 3am and I'm not in the mood....so yeah..created more drama. lol. So yeah....sex sometime soon..next chapter or the chapter after next. ;)
