- "Hey, this is me Nicole, and obviously I'm not here right now, so leave a message and I'll get back to you." BEEEEPP!!
- "Hey Nicole, this is Nate. Your friend Brittany gave me your number. I hope that's ok. Anyways...I know that by the time your probably listening to this, you'll probably be in New York already and---"
- Nicole picked up her phone, "Hey Nate. Sorry 'bout that. I was just getting out of the shower."
- Oh my god.....she just got out of the shower...she's probably naked right now with the nice, warm hot water running down her silky skin---
- "Nate?"
- "Oh sorry 'bout that...I was just...thinking of something."
- "That's ok. Oh, and for the record, I do have a towel on."

- "I never said I was thinking of you."

- "But I don't. I mean...I can't. I've got a job to uphold. I'm Miss USA. I'm going for some charity event in New York tomorrow and do a few photo shoots and I'm gunna be on Regis & Kelly, SNL, TRL, and David Letterman!"
- "What if I come with you?"

- "Nate...it'd just be really weird. Kinda stalker-ish. Ya get what I'm sayin? Your a great guy, but this just...isn't the time. I'm not looking for a relationship. Maybe if I met you before I became Miss USA things would be different. But you just gotta accept the fact that this is the way things are and you can't go back in time where you could've met me at the right time." Nicole finished and hung up.
- "Shit." Nicole muttered to herself in her 5 star Detroit hotel room.
- She changed into her pajamas and turned out the lights and got under the covers and rested her head on her pillow.
- Why am I *so* stupid? Why couldn't I just say 'I love you and I wanna be with you?' Why? Why? Why? Why can't I say that?
- Nicole cried herself to sleep that night. She wanted to be able to trust men...but she just...couldn't.

- He grabbed her by her hair.

- He threw her against the ground and tore her shirt open.

- With each time she screamed he violently thrust into her harder. Blood was everywhere.
- "STOP IT!!!!!!"
- He withdrew a gun. "ONE MORE SCREAM AND I'LL SHOOT YOUR FUCKIN BRAINS OUT!!!!"
- "I'M GUNNA TELL MOMMY!!!"
- "MOMMY DOESNT LOVE YOU!!!! YOU DONT SEE HER AROUND HERE DO YOU?!?! SHE HATES YOU!!!! THATS WHY SHE LEFT YOU AFTER BIRTH!!!!!"

- "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STOP IT!!! STOP IT!! STOP IT!!" Nicole woke up and realized it was only a dream. More like a flashback actually. She just laid there in a cold sweat for an hour before she finally managed to be able to go back to sleep again.
- ~*~*~Same time....after Nicole hung up on Nate.......but at Nate's house~*~*
- "Hello? Nicole? Nicole?"
- Damnit! That bitch thought she could actually hang up on me!!
- Nate started dialing the airport...
- "Hello? Do you have any tickets for a flight out to New York tomorrow?"
- Nate talked to the guy on a phone for a bit....he managed to book a seat for a flight to New York tomorrow.
