“Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Mathers,” the doctor proclaimed.  “You’ve given birth to a baby boy.”

Contessa cried with a smile on her face, “We did it, Marshall.  We did it!”

“Yes, baby, we did,” he whispered as he gazed adoringly at his son.

“He’s perfect.”

“Perfect,” Marshall echoed.

“He has your eyes,” she teased.

“And your hair.”

“He’s going to have your attitude.”

“Uh huh,” Marshall agreed.  “But he’ll have a bit of both of us in him.”

“Yes, he will,” she said smiling.

“Marshall!  Look,” Contessa yelled as she showed him the newspaper in her hand:

EMINEM:  INFAMOUS BACHELOR IS MARRIED WITH CHILDREN!

Today, Interscope and Aftermath Records have disclosed a public statement confirming that rapper Eminem (Marshall Bruce Mathers III) has married Contessa Maria Summers and has been for nearly a year. 

The Mathers’ wedding ceremony took place in California, close to Mrs. Mathers’ family, on the coastline.  It was small, informal, and the two had been together for a year prior to their marriage.  Interscope reports that the couple will be living in both California, her home, and Michigan, his home.

His publicist has further disclosed that the Mrs. Mathers has given birth to a baby boy, and that Eminem will be taking an indefinite break from the music industry.  Mr. Mathers is quoted as halting his music career for, “the well being of my wife, my daughter, and my son.  I hope to continue working at times, but I have significantly reduced my schedule and workload in order to care for my family.”

We congratulate the couple on their marriage and their newborn son.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Contessa asked.

“It didn’t occur to me to tell you,” he replied easily.

“You’re the most wonderful father,” she murmured.

“And you’re going to be the most wonderful mother.”

“I can’t wait,” she smiled at him and laughed.

“I love you, Mrs. Mathers,” Marshall sighed as he cupped her face in his hands.

“I love you, Mr. Mathers,” and she kissed him deeply, lovingly, and touched the very depths of his soul.
